The Tipping Point

Map
1212 Main St., Houston, TX 77002, United States

Evolving from the city's thriving hip-hop music scene, The Tipping Point is something more than a store for the sneaker connoisseur. The three owners, in fact, prefer to call it a gallery and a mission, with the stated aim of making Houston a more creative, international city. Indeed, the boutique's arrival amplified the buzz of downtown Houston. In its stripped-down Main Street setting, The Tipping Point offers limited-edition Pumas, Pro-Keds, Asics, PF Flyers, Vans, and other high-end collectible kicks. Displayed on a wall of custom shelves, the shoes look like works of wearable art, perfect for stepping out into a revitalized street culture.
