Zig Zag Cafe

Located on the Pike Street Hill behind Seattle's most venerable market, Zig Zag attracts a diverse crowd with its take on classic cocktails and bar food. Veteran bartender Murray Stenson is regarded as one of the best and is popularly credited with single-handedly reviving the Last Word, a Prohibition-era cocktail made with gin, chartreuse, maraschino, and lime. Mixed drinks are the star here, but there's also three rotating taps of Maritime lagers and ales, select premium bottled beers, and a wine list with both Old and New World options. The menu includes marinated olives, Cajun-spice nuts, and sandwiches.
