Far from traditional, KO Prime updates the classic steakhouse concept with an extensive selection of seafood, game, and offal as well as vegetarian options, salad greens grown on the rooftop, and cocktails chilled with liquid nitrogen. Located in the Nine Zero Hotel, this modernized steakhouse is the creation of James Beard Award-winning chef Ken Oringer, also of Boston’s Clio, and has an interior as contemporary as its menu, with a sleek white bar, dark padded banquettes, and cow-print chairs. Adventurous diners enjoy the roasted bone marrow appetizer, while the filet mignon and short rib macaroni and cheese are both crowd-pleasers.
