Designed in a 1940’s French-Moroccan style, this romantic inn sits on a natural mineral-water aquifer about 12 miles north of Palm Springs. Facing a central courtyard with a palm-fringed pool, the 10 guest rooms are all individually designed with exotic furnishings, many imported from Marrakesh—think sheer white bed canopies, oversize tassels, copper sink basins, and hand-painted vases filled with peacock feathers. The spa has a hot mineral-water pool, as well as a menu of Africa-inspired treatments like the Moroccan clay body mask. In addition to a complimentary breakfast, the inn also hosts an evening happy hour with sake-based Morocco-tinis.
