Chef Jennifer Jasinski, mentored by Wolfgang Puck and a semi-finalist for a James Beard award, partners with Beth Gruitch at their celebrated restaurant, Rioja. The small patio invites those walking through the LoDo neighborhood to stop for a Rioja “picnic” of artisan meats, cheeses, nuts and olives. Guests lucky enough to be seated inside for a full meal enjoy hand-blown light fixtures, an open kitchen and a copper bar—the perfect background for the fare that concentrates on local, seasonal ingredients that have a distinctly Mediterranean taste.
