Located a bit out of the way in the up-and-coming RiNo neighborhood, the masses have discovered this hopping Chinese fusion restaurant from chef Tommy Lee. Like Lee's first restaurant, Uncle, Hop Alley is the cool kid on the block, done in black wood with white minimalist chairs, bright red lamps hanging overhead, and Lil Wayne blaring on the speakers. With reservations taken for large parties only, you'll likely have to wait to dig into a first-rate chilled tofu, a garlic and sweet soy pork chop, and the now infamous (thanks to its heat) spicy Sichuan fried chicken entree. The restaurant's small bar area and hand-crafted cocktails makes the queue a bit more bearable.
