Owners Kate and George Lawes have been welcoming collectors for more than 32 years at this charming Decatur antique mall. Named for the iconic vine that crawls over backyards, trees, and abandoned houses throughout the South, Kudzu is—appropriately—a spreading rabbits' warren where more than 100 antique dealers sell their wares. The 25,000-square-foot brick building is a bit tacky on the outside, but inside collectors and curious browsers will find everything from vintage Hardy Boys books and hand-painted plates to fine Chippendale dining sets selling for thousands of dollars.
