Skiing the 39 slopes is one of many winter activities at Canaan. Snow-loving adventurers can also try snow tubing and “airboarding,” a high-tech take on traditional downhill sledding on an inflatable ride. The 250-room lodge has an arcades room, a spa and gym, and a kids’ center.
