Empiric

Blocks from The Grove in Hollywood, Empiric got its start as a printmaking studio 15 years ago. Derived from the word empirical, this home décor shop specialized in mid-century modern furnishings. The shop sells both hand-selected vintage items and newer pieces from its own line, as well as pieces from other manufacturers and custom pieces. The store's selection ranges from a life-sized Phrenology head to Erlenmeyer flasks, even taxidermy animals. Empiric also has a sizeable collection of steel, medical, and glass furniture items.
