The rustic hotel was originally built to house the 1992 Olympians.
In the 1980's the famous Byblos hotel, in St.-Tropez, expanded in Courchevel with the opening of Byblos des Neiges, now the Palace des Neiges. The property was favored by everyone from the Aga Khan to King Juan Carlos of Spain.
This primo spot just underwent a $51 million renovation with ski valets, a tandem sauna and snow cave, and a 5,900-square-foot premier suite.
Located on Courchevel's 1850 lift platform, the hotel lends elite status to the tier.
