Set in what National Geographic calls one of the most biologically intense places on earth, the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica, Corcovado Adventures Tent Camp houses its guests in full-size tents on the yellow sand beaches of Caletas. Each is complete with wood-frame beds, a front deck, and rain shield. Guests get free use of kayaks, snorkeling gear, surf boards, and laundry service, but some activities like scuba diving, whale and dolphin watches, and kayaking require extra investment, as do guided tours of the forest. Meals are included and feature a mix of Tico and international cuisine.
Insider Tip:
The camp does have 3G internet available, but as tent security is weak, computers are brought at your own risk.
