Coral Gables
Palme d’Or
Biltmore Hotel
Coral Gables, Florida, 33134, United States
Located inside the historic Biltmore Hotel, which dates back to the 1920’s, the Palme d’Or is frequently recognized by publications as one of the best restaurants in Miami. The dining room, decorated with yellow upholstered chairs, chandeliers accented with small lampshades, and carefully placed potted plants, provides a fitting backdrop for the deceptively simple New French fare crafted by chef Philippe Ruiz, formerly of the La Samanna Hotel in St. Martin. Both a la carte and prix fixe menus are available, and highlights include grilled Mediterranean wild striped bass with vegetable ragoût and grilled buffalo tenderloin with crispy fingerling potatoes.
Insider Tip:
After dinner, stroll through the well-manicured grounds outside the hotel, complete with fountains.
