Not your average community swimming pool, this 1923 Coral Gables landmark is a spring-water oasis in the heart of the City Beautiful neighborhood. Among South Florida's most historic destinations, the popular attraction is a Venetian-type lagoon carved out of a coral-rock quarry. Pink stucco towers and striped Venetian poles adorn a series of pools featuring hidden caves, waterfalls, a sandy beach, and refreshingly cool waters. The Venetian Pool's water temperature is kept at 77 degrees even during the sultriest of Miami summers, making the pool a hugely popular summertime destination.
