Copenhagen
1.th. (First on the Right)
Named for the abbrevation of “first floor, on the right,” Mette Martinussen's apartment-turned-restaurant aims to make diners feel like they're attending a private dinner party. The apartment includes a parlor, decorated with flocked scarlet wallpaper and Royal Copenhagen china, that connects to a dining room featuring seven tables. After making reservations, 16 diners receive invitations with a date and time, and the meal follows a seasonal menu of Danish and Nordic cuisine, including dishes like fjord shrimp with hollandaise and guinea fowl breasts cooked in goose fat.
