Loppen

Loppen, short for Musikloppen, meaning “the music flea,” is a popular performance venue located in the artistic Copenhagen neighborhood of Christiania. The club was founded in 1973 and has managed to survive over the years by attracting a slew of international, independent, and alternative rock acts to its stage. Housed inside an old wooden building, the venue provides exceptional acoustics, and, with a capacity of 450, it is a relatively intimate performance space. Future Islands, William Fitzsimmons, and Rich Robinson are among the acts that have graced Loppen’s stage.
