Hotels in Chios
Arched wooden gates, a cobbled courtyard, and a blue waterwheel—the hotel’s namesake—mark the entrance to Manganos Hotel. Situated south of Chios, the property was built in 1990 as a mansion-style accommodation and renovated in 2007.
Right on the waterfront and a five-minute walk from the town center, the property has 139 air-conditioned rooms with balconies that take in views of the busy harbor, citrus groves, and moored boats. Inside the hotel lobby, the soft Mediterranean colors echo shades of the beach and ocean.
The Argentikon is not a typical unadorned, whitewashed Mediterranean villa.
