901 New York Ave. N.W., Washington, DC 20001

Straight out of southern Louisiana, Acadiana serves up Cajun and Creole fusion and Southern-style cocktails in an expansive glassed-in space designed to mimic a grand New Orleans dining hall. Against a soundtrack of jazz and zydeco blues, the celebrated restaurant in Penn Quarter offers a transporting cultural experience along with the food. Formerly of the Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, Chef Jeff Tunks dishes up Acadiana favorites ranging from fried green tomatoes and jambalaya to roast beef po' boys and made-from-scratch biscuits.
