Fairlee Motel and Drive-in Theater

One of only two drive-in motels in the country, the kitschy Fairlee Motel on the Connecticut River provides the unique experience of watching the year’s biggest hits (with up to 400 cars) on the big screen through the large picture windows in each room. All of the 12 units come equipped with speakers and an eclectic mix of furniture, such as queen poster beds, wicker chairs, and antique night tables collected over the years. Burgers and fries are available at the drive-in snack bar, but be sure to bring a cooler for something more nourishing or stays longer than a night.
