Restaurants in Caribbean

Caribbean restaurants make ample use of everything the islands have to offer, both from the land and the sea, as well as each location’s particular traditions and flavors. Dishes show influence from the many settlers that have occupied the islands throughout history, hailing from places as different between each other as Spain, England, China or the United States. With everything from simple, fresh seafood and bright produce to high-end cuisine, these are some of the best restaurants in the Caribbean:

At the Ritz-Carlton in Grand Cayman, Blue by Eric Ripert serves a menu inspired by local fishermen, masterfully executed by the chef from New York’s highly acclaimed Le Bernardin. Its award-winning wine cellar offers more than 800 options. Mill Privée at Montpellier Plantation Inn in St. John’s Parish, Nevis, is a truly unique eatery, built inside a former sugar mill. The stone walls and the candlelight set the mood to enjoy a five-course tasting menu by chef Benjamin Voisin. Le Bistro Nu in St. Martin dishes out authentic French specialties like sole meuniere, cassoulet and grilled sardines. The casual decor and low-key vibe make it one of the friendliest Caribbean restaurants.
