The original Harbour House, in the salty seaside village of Kalk Bay, was such a hit that this outpost opened at the tourist-friendly V&A Waterfront in 2011. The lovely bleached-wood venue hovers over the water, where a favorite dish is the peri-peri Mozambican prawns. Be warned: prawns come with shells intact in South Africa, meaning you have to get dirty and peel them off yourself—not for the faint of heart, but the plump, juicy reward is well worth the effort.
