This isn’t your typical concrete Cancún monstrosity. It’s a boutique inn of just 29 rooms—all junior suites or suites—overlooking a private beach in the center of Cancún’s shopping district. Recently reopened after a multiyear renovation, the hotel features unusually spacious rooms with contemporary furnishings, cool Mexican marble floors, Jacuzzis on the sea-view balconies, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary mini-bars. Beyond the horizon pool, palapa umbrellas shade lounge chairs on a white-sand beach. There are three bars and two restaurants: seafood and ceviche by the pool at open-air Belle Vue, and more formal Continental cuisine at the dinner-only Celebrity.
