At any given time, a young crowd of students and locals can be found lounging in armchairs, armed with laptops and java, at this Harvard Square cafe. Beverages are taken seriously: A full menu of coffee and espresso drinks—most made with Darwin's own eponymous signature blend—is offered, in addition to more than 30 tea varieties. It may be a zoo at lunchtime, owing primarily to its extensive selection of made-to-order gourmet sandwiches, prepared with all the fixings. Soups, salads, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods galore are also served.
