Located in downtown Calistoga, this hotel has been family-owned and operated since opening in 1969. Renovations were completed in 2011 on the large pool area and included new tiling and an outdoor fireplace. There are four different pools at the resort: an adults-only Jacuzzi pool in a gazebo; a heated soaking pool; a heated multi-lap pool; and a wading pool and waterfall for children. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette. A fitness studio with weights and yoga, as well as Pilates classes, are available to guests.

For a more spacious room, book the king-sized No. 261, which has vaulted ceilings and extra windows.
Insider Tip:
If you are traveling with children or older family members, ask for a room on the ground floor for easier access to the poolside barbecue pits.
