Coffee Time

Though this small shop sells Segafredo espresso and plenty of small bites, in-the-know travelers come to Coffee Time for Egypt’s local beer, Sakara. The lager-like brew, which is the youngest (launched in 1999) brand from Al Ahram Beverages, is named for the famous Egyptian step pyramid that’s pictured on the oversize cans and deep-green bottles. Some even claim beer was invented by the Egyptians more than 5,000 years ago.
