Cabarete Surf Camp
Cabarete, on the North Shore of the Dominican Republic, is known as the surfing capital of the Caribbean; it's also an ideal location for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Cabarete Surfcamp incorporates both lessons and lodging in a quiet neighborhood near the town center and just minutes from the shore. The surf school (located at Enceuntro beach) includes 80 different sized rental boards in epoxy and fiberglass. Professional instructors teach all levels from beginners to advanced. The hotel has 35 lodging options: private cottages and bungalows, ideal for single travelers; or studios and apartments with more space for couples and families. The hotel restaurant attracts a mix of international surfers.

Not all of the rooms have air-conditioning, though there are ceiling fans. For rooms with A/C, a nominal per-night fee will be added.
