Ground zero for Budapest's in-crowd, this hip eatery in the city's vibrant downtown melds sophisticated cuisine with a hopping bar scene. Recently reimagined as an Italian restaurant, Tom-George has an open fireplace, and a killer city view. The menu includes pastas and pizzas, which are prepared in view of patrons, along with fusion dishes influenced by a variety of cultures. Kobe beef, sushi, Hungarian goulash, and even Indian curries can all be found on the menu.
Unless second-hand smoke isn't a problem, request ground-floor seating. Upstairs seating over the bar gets smoky.
