Valdoro Mountain Lodge

Breckenridge is long past its gold rush days, but the town still booms in winter, when one of Colorado’s best-regarded mountains draws skiers from across the globe. Valdoro Mountain Lodge is located only two blocks from the Beaver Run lift, and a ½-mile from downtown. There are 70 guest accommodations ranging from studio rooms to three-bedroom condos, some with private hot tubs and each displaying local artwork. There is no on-site dining, though there is a full bar. Additional amenities include a heated outdoor pool, communal hot tubs, and a spa with services such as hot stone massage and aromatherapy.
