Boston

North End Market Tour

North End Market
Boston, MA, United States
TEL: (617) 523-6032

People began settling Boston’s North End in 1630's, making it the city's oldest residential area. The historic neighborhood, which is home to Revolutionary sights like the Old North Church (1723) and Paul Revere House (1680), received an influx of Italian immigrants in the years prior to World War II and quickly emerged as Boston's culinary heart and soul. Today, traveling foodies interested in learning the ins and outs of the North End can join one of these informative guided tours, planned out by chef Michele Topor. The North End's food markets take center stage on the three-hour tours, during which you can sample ingredients, learn where to buy the best foods, gain cooking tips, and learn a bit of neighborhood history.

Insider Tip:

Oftentimes additional tours are added if the regularly scheduled tours fill up, so be sure to check the schedule online.
