Bora Bora Travel Guide
Bora Bora is best known for its breathtaking landscape and for its watersports. Fun things to do in Bora Bora include snorkeling, canoeing and kayaking, guided tours of the reefs, and some great surfing—although surfers say it’s limited and can be missed altogether, depending on the season. There’s plenty to do on land too, like hiking tours, barbecues, and nightlife.
To see everything the island has to offer, you can try taking a helicopter ride around it. Alternatively, you can explore the islands while on a guided bike tour. Pedaling around Bora Bora’s main island takes only a few hours but if you don’t fancy doing all your own pushing you can even rent motorized bicycles from the Avis in Vaitape. After a day of outdoor excursions, experience Bora Bora’s nightlife. Take a trip to Bloody Mary’s for a fresh seafood dinner caught by local fishermen. Afterward, enjoy one of their signature drinks like Mai tai Roa, Catamaran, or, of course, a spicy Bloody Mary. Whatever you’re into, it’s hard to run out of things to do in Bora Bora.
