Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s restaurants stretch around the world, from Shanghai to New York to this amazing location, perched over the Bora Bora Lagoon. High ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, polished hardwood floors, and a dark-stained wood bar set a confident, contemporary tone for dining in full view of Mount Otemanu. French-educated executive chef Romuald Feger helms the kitchen while Jean-Georges is elsewhere, and his menu is influenced by both French and Asian traditions. Start with the rice cracker crusted tuna or the lobster and mango salad, before segueing into mains such as grilled mahi mahi, spice crusted black papio, or Chilean sea bass.

Insider Tip:

The restaurant's east-facing windows offer clear views of Mount Otemanu. The dramatic rock face rises some 2,400 feet above the tropical canopy and is actually part of the dormant volcano that formed Bora Bora.
