The Beverly Hilton Hotel’s lobby bar, named for the year the hotel opened, is the place to go to party like a celebrity (or at least see one). Ask for the Campari-laced Negroni here and it will come garnished with an orange and lemon twist. The combination is enjoyed on a plush couch overlooking the secluded garden. Wines are cleverly listed in eco-friendly order. Wineries closest to the bar (Ciello Cabernet Reserve—Malibu, 32 miles) are at the top, while the vineyards farthest afield (Adami Garbe Prosecco—Italy, 6353 miles) are at the bottom. If you get hungry, order something from the upscale bar menu (think free range chicken hot wings, Maine lobster tacos, and mini truffle-scented grilled cheese).
