La Dolce Vita, Beverly Hills

9785 Santa Monica Blvd.
Beverly Hills, CA, 90210, United States
TEL: (310) 278-1845

This longtime haunt of President Ronald Reagan dates back to 1966, when George Smith, Jimmy Ullo, and George Raft brought “the sweet life” to Beverly Hills. Alessandro Uzielli now owns the old-school restaurant, which has art-lined, brick walls; red carpeting; and leather, lamp-lit booths. Popular dishes include fettuccine Alfredo, the broiled veal chop, Steak Sinatra—he was a regular customer—which is filet mignon with roasted peppers, and for dessert, zabaglione for two (a custard). The beverage program revolves around food-friendly Italian wines and modern cocktails like the LDV, a signature punch made with bourbon, champagne, and homemade grenadine.

Insider Tip:

La Dolce Vita is around the corner from the Beverly Gardens, a well-manicured park that runs nearly two miles along Santa Monica Boulevard, ideal for a pre- or post-meal walk.
