Southeast Asian antiques and a glassed-in stream that serves as a walkway sets the Euro-Vietnamese atmosphere at Crustacean. Waterfalls and large aquariums abound throughout the two-story dining room, which was inspired by Vietnamese clubs that operated during the French-Colonial period. In addition to the main kitchen, there is a "secret kitchen" in which only family members are permitted to prepare guarded recipes, such as giant grilled prawns on house-made garlic noodles. Regular menu options include wild salmon roasted over bamboo and filet mignon with ponzu glaze. The restaurant's bar, favored by the Beverly Hills hip, has live music nightly.
