With two floors of exhibits dedicated to Bermuda’s marine environment, this 40,000-square-feet discovery center has become a hotbed of activity in anticipation of the 35th America's Cup, which visits the island in June 2017. Its latest exhibit lets visitors don virtual reality goggles to experience an actual America’s Cup race and uses interactive technology to help explain the mechanics of foiling AC catamarans. But don’t miss the rest of the museum, which includes an impressive collection of more than 1,200 shells; a virtual submersible, which takes visitors on a seven-minute dive to 12,000 feet underwater; and a massive wing of underwater artifacts and treasure discovered in Bermuda’s more than 300 shipwrecks.
