Bermuda
Mid Ocean Club
In 1921, Charles Blair Macdonald, the preeminent links designer of his day, created this legendary 18-hole, par-71 course.Frederick Law Olmsted, no less, was the landscape architect, and Robert Trent Jones discreetly revised Macdonald’s design in the fifties. All that, plus one of golfdom’s most infamous hazards: the No. 5 hole’s tidal-pond tee shot.
