Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo
Located in Flatt's Village, the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum, and Zoo (BAMZ) has exhibits on island geology, environments, and marine and animal life. Besides the Natural History Museum, the facility is home to an aquarium, which has more than 200 species of fishes and invertebrates and a 140,000-gallon live coral exhibit. The zoo has more than 300 birds, reptiles, and mammals, including the Galapagos tortoise, scarlet ibis, and Golden Lion Tamarin. Inside the Discovery Room, get up close to everything from sea urchins to conch and sponges in the touch pool. During August and September, BAMZ offers boat rides, north rock snorkeling, and nighttime glow-worm-watching cruises aboard the Endurance.
