Cheese Board Pizzeria

An offshoot of the Cheese Board Collective and located just two doors down, the Cheese Board Pizzeria makes only one kind of vegetarian pizza each day in a limited quantity. That day’s set toppings could be roasted eggplant with Parmesan, paprika, and balsamic vinegar, or asparagus pizza with Gouda and gremolata—a mix of lemon zest, garlic, and parsley. The thin crust is a sourdough mix from the bakery, and all the cheeses come from the worker-owned shop, which first opened in 1971. In the casual sitting area, live musicians play daily during lunch and dinner.
