La Vinya del Senyor
After a day of sight-seeing, grab a drink on the patio at this tapas bar in the shadow of the Santa Maria del Mar church. Noted for its chef Isma Prados, Spanish television cooking show host and author, this spot is named for “The Lord’s Vineyard.” Wine options rotate weekly (although the list always remains at a War & Peace length) in this tiny dining space featuring wooden banquettes, curving archways, and chandeliers. On the menu: artisan charcuterie, cheeses, local duck, and peas from Llavaneres. Try the secallonas (cured sausages), which are made by a microbiologist.
The full menu is not available until 8 p.m., so if you want more than meats and cheeses, plan accordingly.
