From backpacker accommodations for a few bucks to five-star hotels, Bangkok has a place for everyone to rest their head. Frequent visitors to Paris, New York City, and Los Angeles wondering where to stay in Bangkok will delight in the reasonable prices of mid- to upper-level hotels.

Bangkok hotels are perfect for a relaxing vacation. Arun Residence is tucked away on a small residential street in the Old City quarter of Bangkok. The four-story hotel features only a handful guest rooms (book early). The hotel boasts incredible views, with proximity to Wat Arun. The wooden home combines Asian and European design influences to beautiful effect. If you can, try to book a suite with a private terrace lined with palms.

Le Méridien Bangkok is a modern, swanky hotel in Bangkok—some rooms even feature circular beds—located in the business district. Features including etched mirrors, wall-length windows, Thai sculptures, and black mosaic bathroom tiles add a ritzy flair to the neutral colors and clean lines of the rooms. Lebua State Tower—63 stories above the bustling street—offers incredible views of the Chao Phraya River and Bangkok’s towering skyscrapers, especially from its rooftop restaurant. The hotel has excellent, attentive staff and luxurious amenities including balconies, feather beds and free Wi-Fi throughout. It is one of the best hotels in Bangkok.
