Grill 23 & Bar

161 Berkeley St.
Boston, MA, 02116, United States
TEL: (617) 542-2255

Since opening in 1983, this Back Bay icon has been consistently ranked among the best steakhouses in New England. Housed in the historic Salada Tea Building, first constructed in 1917, the two-level dining room maintains original architectural elements such as sculpted ceilings and huge Corinthian columns. While seated at white-clothed tables, surrounded by mahogany paneling and green marble accents, patrons savor inventive dishes from celebrated executive chef Jay Murray. The menu features dry aged, all-natural prime beef as well as fresh seafood, with highlights including tuna tartare with spicy beet mustard and slow-roasted beef tenderloin with port and gorgonzola reduction.

Insider Tip:

Guests making reservations for four or more should request table 608 on the second-story balcony. Overlooking the first floor, this table offers a quieter atmosphere and impressive views.
