Clio
Elliott Hotel
Boston, MA, 02215, United States
Located in the Back Bay’s Eliot Hotel, this renowned French restaurant is helmed by acclaimed chef Kenneth Oringer, previously of San Francisco’s Silks at the Mandarin Oriental. The candlelit dining room, created by Peter Niemitz, is designed in a clean palette of white and tan along with leopard-print rugs, square columns, and floor-to-ceiling windows. The menu changes daily but may include such signature dishes as roasted Muscovy duck and sweet butter basted Maine lobster. Patrons often opt for the three-course market menu, available Monday through Thursday.
Insider Tip:
Unusual pre-dinner cocktails are a must at Clio; try the gin and tonic poured over chili-infused ice cubes for a gradually increasing spice level.
