The magnitude of President Johnson's impact is felt when standing in the Great Hall inside the LBJ Presidential Library: more than 45 million pages, an extensive collection of audio recordings, and 2,000 interviews fill a four-story glass-encased research room from floor to ceiling. The museum contains more than 54,000 objects ranging from renowned art to Oval Office furniture (including the desk used for the signing of the 1965 Voting Rights Act), in addition to personal affects of the president and first lady.
