Certified by the Verace Pizza Napoletana (the organization that governs whether or not a pizza is authentically Neapolitan), Fritti’s dough is handmade with 00 Caputo flour, natural yeast, and sea salt before being smothered in traditional tomato sauce and baked inside a 1000-degree wood-burning oven. Popular topping combinations include the quattro formaggi (four cheese) and funghi di bosco (mushrooms of the woods), made with tomatoes, mozzarella, crimini and portobello mushrooms, and truffle oil. Patrons can dine inside, surrounded by exposed brick and colorful murals, or outside on the patio, where the retractable garage doors are left open during warmer months.
