Although located in the historic downtown district of Castleberry Hill, Marcia Wood Gallery is one of the best places to view lesser-known contemporary artists. Established in 1987, the gallery displays noteworthy artists in addition the emerging ones. Past exhibitions have included works by Timothy McDowell, Kim Anno, Greg Hill, Marcus Kenney, and Mary Engel, and pieces range from digital media presentations to sculptures to stereo (3 dimensional) photographs.
