Chomp and Stomp
Chomp & Stomp is a one-day annual event that pays homage to what Cabbagetown used to be: a small, tightly nit mill town community. Attendees arrive early to line up for the 5k Romp & Stomp, which uses the proceeds for community improvement projects, and then continue flocking into the festival for the great music and delicious chili. Guests simply purchase a spoon and spend the afternoon grazing the chili cook-off booths while sipping local beers. Once bellies are full, soothing bluegrass persuades patrons to sit back, relax and mingle with the neighborhood folks.

Those who choose to run the 5k automatically receive free entrance to the chili and bluegrass portions of the festival.
