Restaurants in Asia

From Thai curry and Peking duck to the wonders of street carts, restaurants in Asia offer both adventures and ecstasy. Every country and region has its own specialties, and the big cities also feature plenty of excellent global cuisine from other parts of the world. Get a taste of everything at the best restaurants in Asia.

Victoria City Seafood Restaurant is a great Asia restaurant in the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong. It serves Cantonese dim sum, seafood, and Shanghai-style fare in a classic, banquet-style dining room. Specialties include soup dumplings with hairy-crab roe and steamed rice rolls. Check out the large aquarium outside the entrance, which teems with fish available for fresh-from-the-tank preparation. Budnamujip is located south of the Han River in Seoul. This Asia restaurant does excellent galbi: short ribs seasoned with garlic, Asian-pear juice or rice wine, and grilled right in front of you. Although its name loosely translates to “hole in the wall,” Buko Nero is a small restaurant in Singapore that often books out a month in advance thanks to its inventive Asian-Italian fusion cuisine. Highlights include the minced-beef ravioli made with wonton skins rather than pasta.
