Jorrit Heinen

Muntplein 12,

1012 .

Since the late 19th Century, shoppers looking for fine Dutch porcelain have been drawn to this three-story canal house in the Munttoren area. Over the years, Jorrit Heinen has expanded its merchandise to include dozens of the world’s most famous earthenware manufacturers, such as Swarowski, Waterford, Lladro, and Royal Copenhagen. The menagerie of hand-sculpted animal figurines, expensive crystal, and hand-painted pottery adorn the shop's old wooden hutches and china cabinets. Owner Jorrit Heinen, who inherited his father's love of Chinese and Japanese ceramics, also runs Heinen Delftware, a blue porcelain store just outside The Hague in Deft.
