The view of Washington, D.C.’s landmarks across the Potomac is part of Indigo Landing’s appeal. Located on Marina Drive in Alexandria, just off the George Washington Memorial Parkway, Indigo Landing has another unique aspect in that the bar’s windows can be folded up, opening the room to the outdoors. In the winter, patrons enjoy drinks on the sofas in front of the fireplace, while in the summer, they dine on the large deck while watching sailboats go by. Executive chef Erik Gutierrez and his team make seafood, steak, and wood-grilled chops part of their contemporary American menu.
Not far Reagan Airport, this restaurant is a great spot to stop for photos of the panoramic D.C. skyline while having a bite to eat.
