8th Arrondissement (Champs-Élysées)
Mini Palais
Paris, 75008, France
In the heart of the Golden Triangle, next to Les Champs Elysées, sits the Mini-Palais. Upon entering the massive bronze door, diners are struck by Gilles & Boissier's design concept for the space, a classy artist's loft with rustic wood-planks covering the ceiling and floor, metal support beams painted green, seamless incoporations black marble, and strategically-placed mirrors that create the illusion of expansiveness. The terrace is lined with imperial columns and features a fully restored mosaic on the walls and floors. Three-star chef Eric Frechon prepares high-quality seasonal cuisine, and his signature menu items include Pil-Pil squid, duck fillet and foie gras burger with truffle sauce, and yellow wine cheese crusted sweetbread.
Insider Tip:
The metal beams in the ceiling are painted vert réséda (green) as an homage to color used inside the Grand Palais.
