Le Bac à Glaces
Set amidst high-end shops on the Left Bank, Le Bac á Glaces, or Ice Tray, specializes in ice cream and sorbets made the old-fashioned way in various all-natural flavors developed by founder Silvain Yoel. Unique combinations include cherry with peppermint and pear with lemon. The owners look far and wide for prime ingredients to use in their craft, such as hazelnuts from the Piedmont region of Italy and vanilla beans from Madagascar. The fig sorbet is an especially popular choice.
